AUGUST 24, 2020 UPDATE - I'm very excited that the harvest season has finally arrived and Fall is right around the corner! There is a big shift on the horizon and a massive global awakening. Everything is evolving and changing so fast that it is very important to stay grounded to Mother Earth. We must focus on our mental and physical well-being during this unique time. Stay hydrated, eat and drink more water foods. Fresh fruits, cruciferous vegetables, cucumbers, tomatoes and soups are very hydrating. Rest whenever you can. Stay informed with current world events but don't be inundated. Don't let the news or social media consume your life. Take frequent breaks from social media and turn off the TV. The news media sources can be extremely negative and fearful. Get some fresh air and get outside in nature even if its for only 15 minutes a day.

With everything that is happening in the world right now, negativity builds up very quick in our environment and can have a direct effect on our health. Practice self care and remember to do regular spiritual cleansings. It doesn't have to be complicated or take a lot of time. Even if you only have 10 minutes - burn a little sage or incense or take a quick salt bath.  Read a good book, meditate, practice some gentle yoga or do some deep breathing exercises to take your mind off of things. Spend a few minutes in the morning when you wake up and in the evening before you go to bed to simply connect with the Divine to express gratitude for everything that you have. Having a bed to sleep on and waking up to live another day is a huge blessing to be thankful for!

The world is full of chaos and darkness right now. We must raise our vibration and stay positive because things will be brought back into the light. The most important thing we can do is learn to adapt to all of the changes. Our lives have completely changed and we must accept that things are going to be different now. Remember that sometimes when things are falling apart, they may actually be falling into place.

When we are confronted with a difficult situation, it is a test, there is an underlying lesson to be learned. It provides us with fresh new insights into our behaviors, personal and social values, intellect and wisdom. Often, these lessons are also blessings in disguise reminding us of what we have and how valuable it is.

Sending all of you so much love and the brightest of blessings ~ xo Melissa
