GENERAL SHIPPING & RETURN INFORMATION
All sales are final. Due to the process and nature of our handmade products, returns and/or refunds are not available. Blackthorn & Rose does not authorize or accept cancellations. Please make sure your order is correct before finalizing your purchase. An order cannot be canceled once it is placed.
After purchasing our products, it signifies your acceptance of this statement and releases Blackthorn and Rose from all liability. Blackthorn and Rose does not issue any refunds or authorize returns for any reason. All sales are final.
Please understand you are receiving a high quality item that is freshly handcrafted and made to order. Due to Covid-19, orders are generally processed, packaged and shipped within 7-14 business days from your date of order. Excluding weekends and holidays. However, due to the serious nature of COVID-19, we are limiting our trips to our local USPS office to drop off packages and shipping is restricted to deliveries only once per week. Please expect a 2-3 week lead time before we can ship your order.
Additionally, the United States Postal Service is also experiencing nationwide delays due to limited transportation availability as a result of nationwide Covid-19 impacts. Please visit the USPS website: www.usps.com for more information or to check the status of your package with your tracking number. Tracking numbers are provided via email once your order has been shipped.

Blackthorn & Rose is not responsible or liable for any missed deadlines. If you are planning on purchasing our products for gifts or during the holiday season, please order within the appropriate time frame that is needed to complete your order. We do not offer rush order services. Due to the nature of our handmade offerings, we want to insure that each item is carefully created and meets our personal high standards to insure your complete satisfaction. Orders are completed in the order that they are received.
All orders are shipped via United States Postal Service Priority Mail for expedited delivery. USPS Priority Mail provides package tracking and delivery confirmation. Tracking information is provided through Paypal after the order is shipped. It is the buyer's responsibility to use the tracking information provided through Paypal. All packages can be tracked by using the tracking number in the search option on the official USPS website: www.usps.com
Shipments are not insured and insurance will not be automatically added to any shipment during the checkout process. Insurance needs to be requested by the buyer in advance. To add domestic insurance, contact us before placing an order to set up a custom reserved listing. All buyers are responsible for contacting USPS to file an insurance claim in the event an insured package is lost, stolen or damaged during shipment. Refunds are not issued by Blackthorn & Rose on either insured or uninsured orders for lost or stolen shipments, or for package contents damaged by the mail carrier. Packages that are marked as "Delivered" do not qualify for a refund nor replacement. You must file a claim with USPS if you have not received items marked as "Delivered."
USPS Signature confirmation is added on large domestic orders within the United States for extra security to protect the buyer and Blackthorn & Rose. It is the buyers responsibility to sign for the package upon delivery. In the event that the buyer is not available or present at the shipping address during the time of delivery, USPS will leave a delivery notice with instructions on how to pick up the package. It is the buyers responsibility to pick up the package from USPS within the specific time frame listed on the notice. You can also schedule redelivery by calling USPS at 1-800-ASK-USPS® (1-800-275-8777). Blackthorn & Rose is not responsible for packages that are undeliverable, unclaimed, or return to sender. No returns or refunds will be authorized or given on packages that are undeliverable, unclaimed, or return to sender.
Please be sure that your shipping address is correct and matches your confirmed Paypal address and/or credit card billing address. Blackthorn and Rose is not liable or responsible for packages that have wrong, incomplete addresses, phone numbers or emails provided to us by the customer during the checkout process. Blackthorn and Rose is not liable or responsible for packages that are undeliverable, unclaimed, or return to sender. No returns or refunds will be authorized or given on packages that are undeliverable, unclaimed, or return to sender. If the buyer entered in the wrong shipping address in error, the buyer is responsible for paying the additional shipping charge to reship the package. There is no estimate of a timeframe for how long the return to sender process will take through USPS.
Blackthorn & Rose currently ONLY ships orders to locations within the United States. All inquiries to ship internationally will be denied.
Blackthorn & Rose is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments or weather damaged packages. Refunds are not issued by Blackthorn & Rose on either insured or uninsured orders for lost or stolen shipments, or for package contents damaged by the mail carrier, any shipping method utilized, or the weather. If your package was insured, please contact USPS to process the insurance claim.
Please use caution when ordering candles during peak Summer months from June through August. Blackthorn & Rose does not accept returns or authorize refunds due to hot weather damaged packages. Keep in mind that most USPS delivery trucks and facilities do not have air conditioning. USPS insurance does not cover any damages from candles melting due to hot weather during the delivery proccess. Order candles at your own risk during Summer months and/or when temperatures exceed 80 degrees.
